Computer Lifehacks. Applications and keyboard shortcuts that will make working on your computer easier.
No one would argue with the fact that computers and the Internet have become a part of our lives. We use the World Wide Web on a daily basis - some more than others, some less - and that's why any user can benefit from some computer know-how.
1. Some programs will make your life much easier. For example, most of us use a monitor of the same brightness under different types of lighting. Download the f.lux program to have your device automatically adjust the brightness of your monitor and the amount of blue - blue is the most stressful color on your eyes.
2. Lightshot - an application that will help you take a screenshot and immediately process it, for example, you can immediately point on the screenshot with an arrow to this or that zone. Sometimes this application helps me out.
3. Another useful program is PeerBlock. It helps you hide your IP address and almost completely disguises your actions on the Internet. To make the program work properly, install the VPN-extension in your browser before downloading it.A very useful know-how, which for some reason is neglected - hotkeys. In everyday life, about 90% of operations a normal user performs with the mouse, although hotkeys help to speed up the process. Here is a small list of combinations.
- Ctrl+T; opens a new tab in the browser.
- Ctrl+Shift+N; creates a new folder in the disk. (If you need to rename it, press F2)
- Win+E; opens computer explorer.
- Ctrl+W; closes the active window.
- Win+D; closes all windows.
- Win+1-9; allows you to move between windows in the order in which they were opened. (Alt+Tab does the same thing).
- Alt+Z: allows you to go back a step, let's say you have deleted a photo, so you don't have to go to the trash and look for it there, you just need to use this key combination
And the last keyboard shortcut for those who like to loiter at work: Ctrl+H quickly clears the browser history.
